This Week: The Bible, Jesus and Swords

If you're unhappy about the lack of swords in your typical Bible study,  then you can't miss Epic Life this Thursday. This week we continue our study of Jesus in our series called, The Jesus Projects. We'll look at Jesus as "The Warrior" and how each one of us has been readily equipped to overcome the challenges of life. The battle is not whether we will win or lose, but whether or not we will choose to fight. Be there for this night that has an extra shot of action. Epic Life Basketball Teams

Get ready for Epic Life Basketball! Starting January 21st, we will be hosting basketball games immediately after Epic Life gatherings. Play starts at 9pm. There is no cost, but you need to signup to be a part of a team. Teams will be selected from Team Captains. Get on this list early as spots will fill out fast. El Salvador 2010

Epic Life El Salvador trip is here. Coming in March, we'll lead a team of Epic Lifers to El Salvador to help install fresh water filters in remote villages and communities. Last year's trip was amazing and we took 14 people to help schools and orphanages. This year, we have teamed up with Samaritan's Purse and have new and exciting adventures planned. Help Set-up and get FREE pizza!!!

We are looking for people to help with pre-service set-up each Thursday. We need 3-4 new people to add to our set-up team. Set-up starts at 5:30 and only takes 45 minutes. You'll be compensated by delicious hot pizza each week! If you want to help but cannot commit to every week, let us know and we can schedule you to help when you're available. Sound good?
